The plenary session of the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) on 2^nd March, 2010, to elect a new Commission Chairperson for the 2010 – 2014 period was successful, orderly and smooth. After a preparation period of three months, the Commission’s new leadership was elected through a spirited and optimistic democratic process.

The following is the Commission’s management structure for the 2010 – 2014 period. We trust that under this new leadership the National Commission on Violence Against Women will progress and advance the movement against violence against women. We also ask to be blessed, and hope we can continue to forge cooperation and togetherness for the sake of the human rights of women in Indonesia.
