	DR.Agustinus Supriyanto A lecturer at the Faculty of Law, the Gadjah Mada University since 1994, also the Executive Director at the Study Center for Multiculturalism. He is an outspoken researcher in the issue of protection for Indonesian woman workers. He speaks from the perspective of law and human rights. He attended the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court in den Haag, and also the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (2006)..
	Andy Yentriyani.,S.Sos.,M.A The lecturer for the subject “Gender in International Relations” at the International Relation Major, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, the University of Indonesia. Since 2000 she has been a researcher and program manager at Komnas Perempuan.
	Arimbi Heroepoetri.,S.H.LL.M Actively involved in the environmental, indigenous people, consumers’, women’s and globalization issues while worked at WALHI (1988-2000). The Coordinator and lecturer for the subject “Feminist Political Ecology” at the Women’s Study at the University of Indonesia since 2001. The Director of debtWATCH Indonesia (2000-2008)..
	Desti Murdjiana The Program Manager at PKBI (the Indonesian Family Planning Association) Yogyakarta (1994-1999). Actively involved in the founding of WCC Rifka Annisa, the Executive Director of PIKUL Association (2003-2007). Now active at the Reparation Program for International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ).
	Husein Muhammad The headmaster of the Pesantren Dar al Tauhid Boarding School in Arjawinangun, Cirebon. He founded various NGOs, such as RAHIMA (Jakarta), Fahmina (Cirebon), WCC Balqis, and the Puan Amal Hayati Foundation (Jakarta). The Vice Chairperson in the Local Parliament of Cirebon (1999-2004). He wrote various articles on women’s Fiqh, gender problems in the Pesantren and pluralism.
	DR. Kunthi Tridewiyanti The Lecturer for the subject of Law and Gender at the Attahiriyah Islamic University in Jakarta, a lecturer at the Anthropology of Law at the Faculty of Social and Political Science, the University of Indonesia. She founded and chairs the Indonesian Association of Lecturers and Observers of Gendered Perspective Legislations (APPHGI).
	Masruchah., SAg An alumni of Sunan Kalijaga Islamic Institute, the Secretary General of the Indonesian Women Coalition (2004-2009), the Vice Secretary General of the National Network against Edema (2005-2007). She is active in the issues of women’s reproductive rights, representation of women in the public institutions, gender budgeting, and unconstitutional policies.
	Dra. Neng Dara Affiah, Msi The lecturer of the subject “Social Thinking in Islam” and “Sociology of Religion” at the Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic Institute, Jakarta. The research consultant for Women’s Empowerment in Muslim Context (WEMC)—SEARC, City University of Hong Kong. A leader of the Fatayat NU, chairing the Research and Development department.
	Ninik Rahayu.,S.H.,MS Teaching for 19 years in the Faculty of Law (1987-2006). The mind behind the appointment of the subject “Gender Law and Human Rights” as an independent and obligatory subject at the Faculty of Law at the Muhammadiyah University, Jember. The Chairperson of the Women’s Study Cemter at the Muhammadiyah University, Jember (1992-2001). A researcher, trainer, and facilitator for women’s issues (1992-2006). The pioneer and chairperson of the Foundation for Service and Protection of the Woman and Child Victims of Violence (2004-2006). The founder and chairperson of the Communication Forum for Political Women of the city of Jember (2004). The consultant for the Legal Drafting and Policies for the Local Government Reform Initiative program of the Department of Interior (2006)..
	Saur Tumiur Situmorang.,S.H.,M.Sc Has been working for the public interests since 1988, at the Study Club for the Development of Society’s Initiatives (KSPPM) in Siborong-borong, North Sumatera, working on peasants’ and indigenous people’s issues
	Sri Nurherwati.,S.H Active in the advocacy for women’s rights at the Legal Aid Foundation Semarang (1995), as the Director of LRC-KJHAM, Central Java (1999), and the Coordinator of the Legal Service Division of LBH APIK, Jakarta (2006). Also active on the corruption issues by founding KP2KKN (the Committee for the Elimination and Investigation of Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism).
	Sylvana Maria Apituley., M.Th Since 1997, actively fights for gender equality especially amongst the Protestant and mixed-religion communities. Active in MADIA and participated at the foundation of Indonesian Conference on Religion and Peace/ICRP in 1999. Teaches “History of the Indonesian Christianity” and “Feminist Theology” since 2004, and started the Human Rights Education at the Jakarta Theology Institute. A speaker and facilitator at the gender-equality and human rights trainings in the churches of the Indonesian Council of Churches (PGI).
	Tumbu Saraswati.,S.H A practicing advocate, since 1985 actively advocates the women’s rights. A member of People’s Assembly from the PDI-P party (1999-2004). As a member of parliament, actively involved in the issues of freedom of information, protection of workers, and agrarian reform. An initiator and chairperson of the Presidium of the Indonesian Parliamentary Women Caucus (2002).
	DR. Yuniyanti Chuzaifah Has been working with women’s issues since 1997 with Solidaritas Perempuan, in the problems of women and conflicts, and the woman migrant workers. One of the researchers of the Woman Migrant Workers in the Middle East. One of the founders of Migrant Workers’ Advocacy Consortium (Kopbumi).
	Dra. Yustina Rostiawati., M.Hum A senior researcher at the Study Center for the Development of the Society (PKPM) at the Atmajaya Catholic University. Writes for some journals, reports and books. Speaker at various national and international forum.
